What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is a health care approach that emphasizes the spine, in order to effect general health via the nervous system.

Chiropractic care can help several imbalances in the body including:

  • Lower back, neck and shoulder pain
  • Arm and leg pain
  • Sciatica
  • Headaches
  • Sports injuries
  • Repetitive stress injuries (RSI)
  • Pregnancy-related conditions
  • Whiplash
  • Scoliosis
  • Stress-related conditions
  • Metabolic conditions

How Does It Work?

There is no process, experience, or movement in your body which is not controlled by the nervous system.

Your immune system, your digestion, and all other systems are reliant on a free and functioning nervous system for maintenance of health and balance.

With chiropractic adjustments, stress is released from the spine. While many people joke about getting “cracked”,  the popping sounds heard in an adjustment indicate that the joints are being released. This is completely safe as the motion of the spine is merely restored.  As the motion is restored to the joints, circulation and hydration prevent decay in the spine.

The spine supports and protects your nervous system. With greater ease and flexibility in the spine, the nervous systems enjoys increase circulation and efficiency.
